Infoblox Inc. today announced that it has named Tim Colby as its Vice President of Global Channels. In his new role, Colby is responsible for leading Infoblox’s channel-facing organization and developing strategic initiatives designed to increase Infoblox market share worldwide and provide additional profit opportunities for Infoblox partners. I look forward to applying more strategic focus in this area and helping create impactful channel initiatives for Infoblox and our partners worldwide.”

“The proliferation of IP devices along with virtualization and IPv6 initiatives are fueling a tremendous market opportunity for network automation tools that can eliminate rudimentary network tasks and simplify management for IT professionals,” said Smith. “Tim’s arrival at this critical time is great news for Infoblox.
