Token-based licensing is a flexible Infoblox pricing model in which customers purchase tokens instead of separate licenses for each product or feature. Infoblox customers have the freedom to:
- Purchase token packs for a contract term.
- Utilize those tokens to enable multiple Infoblox services or capabilities
- Adjust product usage to utilize tokens within purchased quantities.
Infoblox tokens are units of flexible networking, security or visibility capacity used to enable capabilities.
Tokens are purchased as an allowance for use over an agreement term. Infoblox tracks how that allowance is used, rather than charging separately for every feature, server or device.
The platform monitors usage and applies utilization rules in the background—no need to manually assign tokens to each feature or function.
