What is Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC)?
A Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) is a mathematical calculation on a frame or cell that is used for error detection. It is added to the traffic, and the receiver performs the same calculation. If the two CRCs do not match, an error has occurred.
