Integration between ElasticBox and Infoblox
ElasticBox has integrated Infoblox through the WAPI to provide three key benefits. The IP addresses for the virtual machines deployed in the vCenter cloud for the various applications can be assigned based on preferred pool from within Infoblox, already deployed in the enterprise. Structured naming through the DNS provides easier identification and debugging for virtual machines created upon application deployments. Additionally, IP address can also be used in creating access control policies for virtual machines.

Integration between ThreatSTOP and Infoblox
ThreatSTOP integrates with the Infoblox DNS Firewall product to provide continuous threat protection against advanced persistent threats (APTs) and malware. ThreatSTOP maintains a database of active bad IP addresses and domains, and their underlying infrastructure. Using this information in a DNS firewall policy, which users can customize according to their needs, enables organizations to block malicious traffic or redirect to a walled garden environment. These policies are automatically updated with the latest threat information and sent from ThreatSTOP’s cloud to the Infoblox DNS Firewall. The DNS Firewall Response Policy Zone (RPZ) is automatically updated with the domain and IP information, and any time an endpoint tries to reach a known malicious destination, DNS Firewall will take the action specified by the user in their policy, providing immediate protection for your network.
