Infoblox UK Limited – UK Tax Strategy
Introduction
This tax strategy has been developed by and applies to Infoblox UK Limited (“Infoblox UK”) in respect of the year ending 31 July 2026. Infoblox UK regards this publication as satisfying its obligation under paragraph 22(2) of Schedule 19 of the Finance Act 2016. This strategy is owned by the Board of Directors of Infoblox UK.
Infoblox UK is a part of the wider Infoblox Group, a provider of network control, automation and cybersecurity solutions.
Our approach to risk management and governance in relation to UK taxation
Infoblox UK is committed to complying with applicable tax laws and regulations in the UK. Tax risk is managed within the Group’s broader governance and risk management framework and in a manner that supports the Group’s business operations, long-term objectives and responsible risk management.
Tax compliance is managed by qualified tax professionals and consultants with appropriate expertise. External advisers may be engaged where specialist support is required, and management are responsible for reviewing and approving material tax filings and significant tax positions. Infoblox UK maintains processes intended to support accurate, complete and timely tax compliance, including the maintenance of supporting documentation, the monitoring of changes in tax law and practice, and the updating of processes and controls where appropriate.
These governance arrangements are supported by our wider commitment to integrity, transparency, good governance and ethical business conduct as reflected in our corporate policies.
Our attitude towards tax planning in relation to UK taxation
Infoblox UK manages its tax affairs in a way which aligns the Group’s commercial activities and business strategy with local tax laws. Infoblox UK does not engage in tax planning that lacks commercial substance or is inconsistent with business activities – tax outcomes follow the underlying commercial and economic substance of the relevant transactions.
External advice may be sought where appropriate to assist with the interpretation of complex rules, specialist areas of taxation or significant transactions. Any such advice is considered within the Group’s governance framework and in light of the Group’s commitment to integrity and accountability.
The level of risk we are prepared to accept in relation to UK taxation
Given the scale of business and volume of tax obligations, risks will inevitably arise from time to time in relation to the interpretation of tax laws and the nature of Infoblox UK’s compliance arrangements.
Infoblox UK actively seeks to identify, evaluate, manage and monitor these risks to maintain compliance, minimise financial penalties and protect its business reputation. It seeks to reduce the level of tax risk arising from its operations, as far as is reasonably practicable, by ensuring that due care is taken in relation to processes that affect its compliance with tax obligations.
Where uncertainty arises, Infoblox UK will seek to establish the relevant facts, apply reasonable judgement, and obtain external advice where appropriate.
Our approach to dealings with HMRC
Infoblox UK engages with taxing authorities, including HRMC, in a constructive, professional and transparent manner. Infoblox UK is committed to provide information required by law and to respond to enquiries and compliance activity appropriately.
Where engagement with HMRC is required, matters are coordinated by the relevant tax and finance personnel, with support from external advisors and other internal stakeholders where appropriate. For any tax issues which may arise with HMRC, Infoblox UK’s objective is to resolve issues on a principled, fair, and efficient basis.
