Recruitment Privacy Policy
I. Applicant Privacy Notice
This Recruitment Privacy Notice (“Privacy Notice”), by and between Infoblox Inc or its affiliates (individually and collectively “We” or “Infoblox”) and you as an individual (“you”), describes Our practices with respect to the collection, use, storage, disclosure, erasure, or other handling (individually and collectively “processing”) of your Personal Data in connection with your application for employment at Infoblox.
Personal Data means any information relating to you that identifies you or could reasonably be used to identify you. By proceeding to the application and submitting your Personal Data to Infoblox, you expressly agree and consent to the terms and conditions set forth in this Privacy Notice and that you are at least the age of consent under applicable law in the country in which you reside. You also represent and warrant that: (i) all information provided by you to Infoblox is current, accurate, complete, and true; (ii) you have the authority to provide such information to Infoblox; and (iii) you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Infoblox for any untrue or inaccurate information provided by you (or authorized third-parties acting on your behalf as a job applicant) to Infoblox.
II. Categories of Personal Data Processed
Subject to applicable law and practice, We may process the following Personal Data as Data Controller, which We collect during the application process from you or authorized third-parties acting on your behalf (e.g., recruitment agencies): your name, email address, phone number(s), job category, preferred location, resume, curriculum vitae (CV), letter(s) of recommendation, motivation letter, test scores, list of references, educational background, information conveyed during your interview(s), and other information that you or authorized third-parties acting on your behalf submitted to Infoblox during the application process. You may also voluntarily disclose your demographic information (such as race, ethnic origin, disability, and veteran or military status). Generally, we recommend that you do not disclose sensitive personal characteristics (e.g., height, weight, religion, philosophical or political beliefs, financial data, or age) in your resume or CV or in any other materials that you submit in support of your application.
III. Processing Personal Data
We process your Personal Data to use or disclose as appropriate to (i) process your job application, which includes selecting and evaluating you against other applicants; (ii) comply with all applicable laws and regulations, (iii) investigate and enforce compliance with and potential breaches of Our policies and procedures, (iv) conduct internal audits, operations, and workplace investigations, and (v) exercise or defend the legal rights of Infoblox, its employees, and related rights.
We process your Personal Data through manual and automated means so We can screen and review your application and contact and inform you (or authorized third-parties acting on your behalf as a job applicant) about the progress and outcome of your application procedure. We also use your Personal Data during the application process to improve and develop our recruitment process and to review and compare our recruitment process against statistical and strategic goals. Any misleading, false, or willful omission of relevant information may be sufficient reason for refusal of employment or suspension or dismissal from employment.
IV. Data Transfers and Recipients
During the initial retention period, We may share your Personal Data with affiliates and third-party vendors, including, without limitation, reference-check companies, screening providers, testing providers, and hosting services. We also may transfer your Personal Data to our offices in the United States of America and India in order to store and process your Personal Data in a central Human Resources system. To expedite your application and candidacy, We use a platform hosted by Oracle Corporation, to manage recruitment functions like job postings, applications, and applicant tracking. By submitting employment application(s) to Infoblox, you expressly agree and consent to Oracle’s privacy policy and terms and conditions, which as of the effective date are available here and here, respectively.
We disclose your personal information to our private equity sponsors, Vista Equity Partners, Warburg Pincus, and its affiliates, including Vista Consulting Group (collectively, “Sponsors”), for administration, research, database development, workforce analytics, and business operation purposes, in line with the terms of this Privacy Notice. Sponsors process and shares your personal information with its affiliates, including other portfolio companies, on the basis of their legitimate interests in managing, administering, and improving its business and overseeing the recruitment process and, if applicable, your employment relationship with Infoblox. If you have consented to us doing so, we also share your personal information with other Sponsors’ portfolio companies for the purpose of being considered for other job opportunities in the pooling system, both inside and outside the EEA.

When third parties are provided access to your personal information, we require them to abide by contractual, technical and organizational measures designed to ensure that your personal information is processed only to the extent that such processing is necessary, consistent with this Privacy Policy, and in accordance with applicable law. Note that some of these third parties may also maintain additional privacy policies and notices that may be presented to you as part of the process.
We may transfer the personal data that we collect about you to recipients in countries other than the country in which the personal data originally was collected. Those countries may not have the same data protection laws as the country in which you initially provided the personal data. When we transfer your personal data to recipients in other countries (such as the U.S.), we will protect that personal data in a way that is consistent with this Notice.
We comply with applicable legal requirements providing adequate protection for the transfer of personal data to recipients in countries outside of the EEA/UK. In all such cases, we will only transfer your personal data if:
- The country to which the personal data will be transferred has been granted an adequacy decision under EEA/UK law (as applicable); or
- We have put in place appropriate safeguards in respect of the transfer, for example, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (“EU SCCs”) and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU SCCs, or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement published by the Information Commissioner’s Office (as applicable).
V. Retention Periods and Deletion
By applying to a job at the Infoblox, you expressly consent and agree to have your Personal Data processed by Infoblox and retained by Infoblox, affiliates, and third-party vendors acting on Infoblox’s behalf for twelve (12) months from the date of submission of Personal Data (the “initial retention period”) in accordance with the terms set forth in this Privacy Notice. In order to retain your Personal Data longer than the initial retention period, We will rely on your consent.
Notwithstanding this and unless another legitimate basis exists whereby we determine that we should retain your Personal Data, we may anonymize and aggregate your Personal Data (“anonymized data”) during the initial retention period and may retain anonymized data for longer than the initial retention period.
VI. Your Statutory Rights
You have several rights with regard to your Personal Data under different privacy laws, for example, the right to get access to your Personal Data, to have it corrected, and to have it erased. In case the local laws do not guarantee you the rights listed above, we reserve the right not to perform these actions.
Californian laws should be applicable for the applicants in the United States of America.
