Infoblox network appliances are purpose-built, high-performance hardware devices that form the foundation of Infoblox network services and management solutions. All models (except 1102-A) can be deployed individually or in high-availability pairs (HA) / distributed architecture for optimal service resiliency.

Appliance-based delivery of IP network services and management has become a recommended industry best practice for any size organization. Appliances are inherently more reliable, manageable, scalable, and secure than software running on general-purpose servers- as their operating systems are well understood and more easily compromised.

Infoblox-2000-A Network Services Appliance

Data centers, large enterprises, and service provider environments. Fault tolerant with fully redundant, hot-swappable components. Any component failure will not cause a failure of mission-critical network services. Neither service interruption nor powering down the appliance is needed to perform maintenance or replace a component.

Can be deployed singularly or as an Infoblox Grid™ member for delivering scalable, high-performance external DNS services for an enterprise’s Internet presence. Also ideal as large-scale Infoblox Grid master for hundreds of Infoblox Grid members, an Infoblox Grid master candidate in a disaster recovery site or for internal core network services in a data center or a large campus network. Ships with the security-hardened Infoblox NIOS® software.

Infoblox-4010 Network Services Appliance

The Infoblox-4010 is a high-performance, carrier grade network appliance designed to deliver high-performance external DNSservices for ISPs, Telcos, and, large enterprises, as well as high scale DHCP and Grid management applications. The Infoblox-4010 canbe deployed stand alone and in HA, as a Grid member or as a Grid master. Infoblox-4010 features redundant, hot swappable powersupplies, fan modules, and hard disk drives, as well as optional optical interfaces. Infoblox-4010 is available in both, an AC versionand an US NEBS-3 Compliant DC version to meet stringent, standardized environmental requirements for deployment in Service Provider central offices.

Infoblox-4030 Network Services Appliance

The lnfoblox-4030 is a high-performance, carrier grade DNS recursive appliance designed to deliver high-performance DNS caching services for ISPs, Telcos, and large enterprises. The Infoblox-4030 is optimized for DNS caching and can achieve a perfor­mance level up to ~1M QPS. The lnfoblox-4030 can be deployed stand alone or as part of the Infoblox Grid. lnfoblox-4030 features optional DC power, redundant, hot swappa­ble power supplies, fan modules, and hard disk drives (supports 4 HDDs with RAID 10).
