System Requirements

vNIOS for VMware

The Infoblox vNIOS on VMware software can run on ESX or ESXi servers that have DAS (Direct Attached Storage) or iSCSI (Internet Small Computer System Interface) SAN (Storage Area Network) attached. You can install the vNIOS software package on a host with VMware ESX or ESXi 5.0, 5.1, 5.5, or 6.0 installed. The eval versions require 160GB hard disk capacity.

vNIOS for Microsoft Hyper-V

Administrators can install vNIOS virtual appliance on Microsoft Windows® 2008 R2, 2012, or 2012 R2 server using either Hyper-V Manager or SCVMM. A Microsoft Powerscript is available for ease of installation and configuration of the virtual appliance. Note that the vNIOS Hyper-V is not supported as a Grid Master or Grid Master Candidate. For more information about vNIOS Hyper-V, refer to the Infoblox Installation Guide for vNIOS on Microsoft 2008 R2 for Hyper-V. The eval versions require 160 GB hard disk capacity.

vNIOS for XenServer

The Infoblox vNIOS for Xen is a virtual appliance designed for Citrix XenServer 6.1 and 6.2 running Xen hypervisor and for Linux machines running 4.3 hypervisor. The eval versions require 160 GB hard disk capacity
