With many organizations expanding their footprint to the cloud, or even moving all servers and leaving nothing behind in the office other than what is required, administrators face the challenge of how to maintain and integrate services in the cloud and for on-prem clients. And when you find different groups managing these resources, keeping track of everything is not always straightforward and staying aware of resources that have been deployed in the cloud is also crucially important. Some organizations have different groups that maintain their own cloud resources and the IT, finance or other management groups just can\u2019t keep track; meanwhile, people can quickly forget about resources that they have deployed, and it is easy to lose track of who owns what. Infoblox provides multiple solutions to power enterprise-grade DDI services, security and automation. These solutions can be deployed in physical and virtual environments, with Infoblox appliances being centrally managed and enabling flexible deployments to support physical (on-premise), virtual and hybrid-cloud environments. With vNIOS images for Infoblox appliances and Infoblox vDiscovery available for multiple cloud platforms, administrators can extend secure and reliable services across even more cloud platforms, whether it be entirely in one cloud platform (such as Google Cloud Platform\u2122), or in a hybrid-cloud deployment distributed throughout multiple on-prem locations, public and private cloud platforms.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s New<\/strong><\/p>\n

With NIOS version 8.4, support has been expanded to include Google Cloud Platform, or GCP. Infoblox vNIOS appliances are available in different model types and sizes, adding flexibility so that you can deploy what you need. This can be a smaller appliance for smaller or remote offices, or a larger and more robust appliance for critical data centers and ISPs. Infoblox vDiscovery has been updated as well, extending visibility and automation of DNS records for networks and VMs throughout GCP and other cloud platforms, all under a single pane of glass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
