By combining continuous updates of multi-vendor advisories with rich device discovery, NetMRI Advisor will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Compare the potential risks to your network devices.<\/li>\n<li>Alert you if the devices are vulnerable.<\/li>\n<li>Allow you to automate the remediation to keep your network locked down.<\/li>\n<li>NetMRI Advisor also helps plan future requirements by monitoring end of sale and end of support information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1 id=\"toc-hId--2045760938\">What does NetMRI Advisor look like in action<\/h1>\n<p>When you first log in to NetMRI, you get the issues screen with the general view. Under the Views drop-down menu, there is a \u2018PSIRT Advisor Vulnerabilities\u2019 view that is installed. The screen below shows all of the devices within the device group \u2018All Cisco Gear\u2019 that are affected by this PSIRT in addition to how often the policy detected the problem. Most of the devices passed on the policies except for one policy. There is the remediation section. Depending upon the rule, it could be a configuration change or in this case, it is a link to the advisory. This information is updated daily. These fields are added when NetMRI Advisor is installed. Based upon the EoX column, you may act on the \u2018End of Support\u2019 status or \u2018End-of Sale\u2019 status by replacing the device with a newer model.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-732\" src=\"https:\/\/live-infoblox-blog.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/make-your-netmri-deployment-more-efficient-netmri-advisor-detection.png\" alt=\"NetMRI Advisor Detection\" width=\"600\" height=\"251\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.infoblox.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/make-your-netmri-deployment-more-efficient-netmri-advisor-detection.png 600w, https:\/\/www.infoblox.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/make-your-netmri-deployment-more-efficient-netmri-advisor-detection-300x126.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>NetMRI Advisor creates a couple of reports; a PSIRT report and an EoX report. These reports can be scheduled and emailed on a periodic basis. The reports can be viewed on the screen or exported as CSV files.<\/p>\n<p>The PSIRT report shows the devices that have at least one failed rule.
