But can you quickly view and turn that data into meaningful decisions and action?<\/p>\n<p>Infoblox\u00ae NIOS 8.5, Reporting and Analytics adds three new DNS, DHCP, and IPAM usability reports to the already 100+ Splunk\u00ae-based pre-defined dashboards and reports. These new reports give you even greater visibility, usability, and value from your data. This blog provides a quick overview and shows how you can benefit from the enhanced visibility.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>DNS Queries Per Second (QPS) Usage Report\u2014Monitor DNS Queries and Quickly Resolve Anomalies<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-5008 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.infoblox.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/blog-nios-8-5-ra-screenshot-1-2-300x283.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"283\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.infoblox.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/blog-nios-8-5-ra-screenshot-1-2-300x283.png 300w, https:\/\/www.infoblox.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/blog-nios-8-5-ra-screenshot-1-2.png 316w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Located in the DNS Performance Dashboard, the <em>DNS QPS Usage Report <\/em>displays the\u00a0five-day rolling average for the total peak DNS queries per second (kQPS) calculated for all members in\u00a0the Grid.<\/p>\n<p>The report displays the following in either a line chart or table format (Fig. 1).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Time:<\/strong> Select a value from the drop-down list. You can also configure the <strong>DHCP Usage Report, End Customer Name,<\/strong> and <strong>Grid License UID<\/strong> fields in the email message body.\u00a0 This report gives administrators an edge in tracking DHCP statistics, spotting trends, and better planning for the future.<\/p>\n<h3>IP Address Usage Report\u2014Track IP Address Utilization, Detect Issues and Strengthen Planning<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-5015 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.infoblox.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/NIOS-8-5-4.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"220\" height=\"199\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Appearing in the IPAMv4 Utilization dashboard, the IP Address Usage Report gives administrators a view into daily IPv4, IPv6, and total peak usage counts and a five-day rolling average of these IP address categories across all networks in the Grid. You can also configure the <strong>IPAM Usage Report, End Customer Name,<\/strong> and <strong>Grid License UID<\/strong> fields in the email message body.
