On the Fast Ethernet interface the host is connected to, enable IPv6 and add an IPv6 address from the global unicast range (2000::\/3). The particular prefix is unimportant\u2013just make sure you use a \/64 prefix so that SLAAC will function properly.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4582\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.infoblox.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/using-gns3-part2-3.png\" alt=\"Using GNS3 - Part 2-3\" width=\"661\" height=\"540\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.infoblox.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/using-gns3-part2-3.png 661w, https:\/\/www.infoblox.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/using-gns3-part2-3-300x245.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 661px) 100vw, 661px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On the QEMU or VPCS host make sure \u2018ip auto\u2019 is configured (it should be by default) then run the \u2018show\u2019 command.
