When a company has a technology that\u2019s as cutting-edge as we think ours is, it\u2019s important to have a place where customers can share their experiences and insights. In a community, customers can share tips and tricks and ask questions to a wide audience of peers and company representatives.<\/p>\n

Today, we are launching our new\u00a0Infoblox Experts Community<\/a>, replacing our previous community site.\u00a0We look forward to hearing directly from our customers, answering questions and presenting new ideas through our blogs. We encourage you to visit the community to check out the many updates we\u2019re excited to bring to our members. These include:<\/p>\n

Faster access.<\/strong>\u00a0Once they\u2019ve verified their identity through a confirmation e-mail, members have access to the site immediately. Previously, a manual verification process meant that it could take up to four days to get into the community. That just doesn\u2019t cut it in today\u2019s fast-paced world.<\/p>\n

More interaction.\u00a0<\/strong>Once members create an account, they can post questions immediately, as well as search all the content on the community. Previously, members couldn\u2019t post questions to the entire group.<\/p>\n

More usability.\u00a0<\/strong>We\u2019ve improved the user interface, highlighting new content and giving users the ability to quickly search for answers; type your question in the homepage search box, and the system will auto-fill search results of content that already exists.<\/p>\n

Clearer solutions.\u00a0<\/strong>Members can now search on topics and find \u201csolved\u201d forum threads. Answers to questions is key, and we want to make it obvious when questions have been resolved.<\/p>\n

Who\u2019s-Who.\u00a0<\/strong>We want members to feel confident when creating and finding content. The new system includes ranks for employees, external Infoblox experts, and our new Grid Master Program (more on this in an upcoming blog post).<\/p>\n

Kudos System.\u00a0<\/strong>Members can give kudos to authors whose content they like. Members attaining \u201cexpert\u201d status and above will be given opportunities to participate with Infoblox at trade shows, user conferences, and other activities, often as our guest.<\/p>\n

Finally \u2013 and perhaps the most important thing for any user community \u2013 our new community is collaborating with our support organization. When we find a number of people have all asked similar questions on the community site, we\u2019ll be publishing content from the support staff to help solve members\u2019 questions.<\/p>\n
