{"id":2502,"date":"2016-10-27T06:20:18","date_gmt":"2016-10-27T06:20:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/live-infoblox-blog.pantheonsite.io\/?p=2502"},"modified":"2020-05-06T10:28:03","modified_gmt":"2020-05-06T17:28:03","slug":"community-tips-tricks-experts-community-updates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.infoblox.com\/blog\/community\/community-tips-tricks-experts-community-updates\/","title":{"rendered":"Community Tips &#038; Tricks: Experts Community Updates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you have a keen eye, you may have noticed some recent updates to the community site. \u00a0Your user experience on the site is critical, and as many of you know, data helps paint a picture of the &#8220;what &amp; how&#8221; a community is used.<\/p>\n<p>To that end, we&#8217;ve updated the main navigation. \u00a0&#8220;Help &amp; Support&#8221; were originally available since the site is relatively new. \u00a0The data indicated fewer and fewer people were clicking on this section over the last 4 months. \u00a0So, that has been replaced with a link directly to\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.infoblox.com\/?utm_source=blox-community&amp;utm_campaign=community-q2&amp;utm_medium=blox-community\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Infoblox.com,<\/a>\u00a0and also a direct link to our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.infoblox.com\/infoblox-download-center\/?utm_source=blox-community&amp;utm_campaign=community-q2&amp;utm_medium=blox-community\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Evaluation\u00a0<\/a>&amp; downloads on Infoblox.com \u00a0The more subtle change was made to the footer. \u00a0The intent is to help you navigate between sites much easier and find information regarding products, solutions, upcoming webcasts, etc.,<\/p>\n<p>If you were to ask, &#8220;what about integration with the Support Portal,&#8221; \u00a0I would tell you that&#8217;s a terrific question. \u00a0We are looking at a multitude of integration points so our customers can have a seamless user experience between sites. \u00a0Although this is still being scoped, it&#8217;s a project that is top-of-mind and I&#8217;ll be writing more soon.<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, over the coming weeks, we&#8217;ll be rolling out an updated navigation menu. \u00a0It will include drop-down menus so you can more easily find, click, and find (fcf) the content you want in 1-2 clicks. \u00a0We&#8217;re also developing a tag cloud and updates to our leaderboards. \u00a0More to come on those elements as well.<\/p>\n<p>We want to hear from you! \u00a0What other features would you like to see? \u00a0Please leave a comment and we&#8217;ll be sure to respond and continue to &#8220;connect the dots&#8221; as in the picture above.<\/p>\n<p>Make it a great day!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you have a keen eye, you may have noticed some recent updates to the community site. \u00a0Your user experience on the site is critical, and as many of you know, data helps paint a picture of the &#8220;what &amp; how&#8221; a community is used.
