DDoS and other malicious attacks against DNS infrastructure threaten service availability, network performance, subscriber and enterprise data, and operator reputation.<\/p>\n<p>These challenges aren\u2019t going away, and, in fact, they\u2019re getting bigger. Attacks against Domain Name System (DNS) infrastructure are on the rise. Volumetric flood attacks (DDoS) have increased every year, but now service providers have also reported a wider range of new, more sophisticated, well-planned techniques from hackers, including NXDOMAIN, DNS tunneling and Random Subdomain attacks.<\/p>\n<p>But better defenses are available as well.
