It\u2019s only fair that network and security vendors should be held to the same standard.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s why Infoblox and Cisco Systems have started working together, and we\u2019re proud to be the first provider of enterprise-grade DNS, DCHP and IP address management (DDI) solutions to support bi-directional data exchange with Cisco\u2019s Identity Services Engine (ISE).<\/p>\n<p>To help explain how we\u2019re working together, we\u2019ve scheduled two 30-minute\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/event.on24.com\/wcc\/r\/1082551\/5599B2802882ACA050B81CFAA809D3A1\/6399\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">webinars<\/a>: one on how our systems exchange information, and one on how we automate threat discovery and response. The first is Tuesday, November 17<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0at 10:00 a.m. PST\/1:00 p.m. EST, and the second is Tuesday, December 1<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0at 10:00 a.m. PST\/1:00 p.m. EST.<\/p>\n<p>Both of our companies feel that these are crucial issues. Too often, security tools don\u2019t share information, creating a real operational challenge with multiple \u201csilos\u201d of data.\u00a0 The traditional approach using API calls is inadequate. Single-purpose integration between platforms does not scale and cannot effectively address the issue.<\/p>\n<p>Cisco\u2019s pxGrid solves the issue with a multivendor platform for the bi-directional exchange of information without relying on product-specific APIs.
