New technologies (and reconfigurations of the old ones) arrive over the transom (or under the door) on a daily basis. Where IPv6 fits in (or doesn\u2019t) isn\u2019t always immediately obvious. New questions arise and soon the future isn\u2019t so clear.<\/p>\n<p>But don\u2019t despair! We\u2019re here to lift the veil of confusion and fear as we illuminate life\u2019s most profound mysteries\u2014er, um, as long as they\u2019re related to IPv6&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>For instance, what does our IPv6-enabled cloud future look like exactly? How will we secure our Brave New IPv6\/IoT World? How the heck do you convince the suits to cough up some dough for your IPv6 adoption initiative? Or maybe you just want to know what the heck happened to IPv5?<\/p>\n<p>On January 10th, at 9:30am PST, myself, and my intrepid colleagues and IPv6 experts Scott Hogg and Ed Horley will be on hand to attempt to answer these questions and any others you may have at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/community.infoblox.com\/t5\/DNS-DHCP-IPAM\/Join-us-on-January-10th-for-an-IPv6-quot-Ask-Me-Anything-quot\/td-p\/8577\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">our first ever IPv6 CoE AMA<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re looking forward to answering all of your IPv6 questions \u2014 or furiously furrowing our brows in the attempt!<\/p>\n<p>About Tom:<\/p>\n<p>Tom Coffeen is the author of O\u2019Reilly Media\u2019s IPv6 Address Planning as well as the Chief IPv6 Evangelist, Distinguished Architect at Infoblox. Tom is focused on the articulation of effective IPv6 adoption strategies as well as IPv6 adoption trends for customers, potential customers, and the public media. Prior to joining Infoblox, Tom was the VP of network architecture at the global CDN Limelight Networks where he led their deployment of IPv6. Tom brings nineteen years of network engineering and architecture experience to his role at Infoblox.<\/p>\n<p>About Scott:<\/p>\n<p>Scott Hogg is the CTO for Global Technology Resources, Inc. (GTRI). \u00a0Scott is a CCIE #5133 and CISSP #4610 with over 25 years of network and security experience. \u00a0Scott actively works on cloud systems, possessing AWS certification and the CCSK and CCSP cloud security certifications. \u00a0Scott is involved with SDN technology and network programmability and has formed the Denver Network Programmability User Group (NPUG) chapter. \u00a0Scott is a founding member of the Rocky Mountain IPv6 Task Force (RMv6TF), and a member of the Infoblox IPv6 Center of Excellence (COE). \u00a0Scott has authored the Cisco Press book on IPv6 Security and writes for\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/networkworld.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">NetworkWorld.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>About Ed:<\/p>\n<p>Ed Horley is the VP of Engineering and the Practice Lead for IPv6 at Groupware Technology. He is the author of Practical IPv6 for Windows Administrators from Apress and is a Pluralsight author. Ed is the current Co-Chair of the California IPv6 Task Force and speaks internationally on IPv6 at various conferences.
