NIOS Installation Tutorial

The Infoblox NIOS Installation Tutorial is an instructional tutorial designed for an Infoblox SE to train Channel Partner SEs to meet the following customer installation objectives: |
|
|
- Understand and be able to articulate the value of the Infoblox solution, what differentiates Infoblox from alternatives, and how we support solutions like AD, IPAM, NAC, and VoIP
- Do a simple single unit evaluation installation, rack mount, power up, get IP address on unit, login, and simple data migration using tool
- Do a HA unit evaluation installation, rack mount, power up, get IP address on unit, login, and simple data migration using tool
- Build a 2 or 3 box ID Grid
- Perform a simple import of DNS, DHCP & IPAM, and TFTP data using the Data Import Wizard
- Basic setup of all services including DNS, DHCP & IPAM, TFTP, RADIUS Proxy, and NTP
- Do the critical data collection that would enable anybody to do a design
- Configure system properties for logging and alerts via SNMP, email, and syslog
- Configure system properties and security settings including management timeout, banners, and SSHv2
- Configure IPAM: DHCP lease history and device classification
- Configure administrators and basic authorization
- Schedule daily or weekly database backups
- Restore database and understand the process
This course is required for achieving Certified Infoblox Engineer Level 1 certification.
