Certified Infoblox Engineer > Level 1 > Exam

Please follow these instructions to complete the Certified Infoblox Engineer (CIE) Level 1 test. Passing this test is a requirement for becoming a CIE Level 1 .

 

You should have completed

Training Class Attendance

the NIOS Installation Tutorial prior to taking this exam. Although you may attempt taking the exam without completing it, the content covered in this tutorial is what will be tested.

Registering for an Exam Account

You must either create or use an existing Exambuilder account to access the online test site. Please do NOT create an additional exambuilder accounts.

If this is your first time taking an Infoblox exam, please follow these instructions.

Test Format

The NIOS Installation exam is 24 multiple choice questions randomly chosen from a larger pool of question. A passing score is 80% or better and will be reported to you and Infoblox immediately upon completion. You are allowed to retake the exam if necessary (See below).

You may have full access to all course and documentation available to you while completing the exam. As this exam is not timed, allow yourself between 15-30 minutes in one sitting.

You will be able to logout and resume where you left off by logging in again at http://testing.exambuilder.com/ using your email address and password you chose.

You are allowed to Flag and go back to individual questions and change answers BEFORE you submit your completed exam.

Taking the Test

To launch the test, login at http://testing.exambuilder.com/ and select the NIOS Installation exam. If you have any concerns while taking the exam, click on Support in the upper right corner to contact the Infoblox instructor or Exambuilder:

When to contact your instructor:

• A question is not worded clearly or may have multiple answers
• An exam you want to take doesn't appear in your current list

When to contact ExamBuilder:

• There was a problem with the functionality of the website

When you are finished taking the test, submit your completed test

Getting Your Test Results

As stated above, a passing score is 80% or better and will be reported to you and Infoblox immediately upon completion. A copy of your detailed test results are emailed to us for evaluation and reporting.

After submission, you are provided a summary of all exam questions you answered incorrectly to assist you in further studying.

Re-taking the Test

If necessary, you may retake your exam after a 2-day waiting period from when you last submitted it by logging in again at http://testing.exambuilder.com/ . As the questions are randomly chosen from a larger pool of question, each test will be different.
