Overview

The curriculum for an individual to obtain certification for the Trinzic family of products (all except NetMRI and related modules) is outlined below.

For existing channel partners, more information can be found on PASS.

Curriculum

The curriculum is shown below.

CICA – Certified Infoblox Core AdministratorCertifies essential knowledge of network service protocols and configuration
Suggested prerequisites:
  1. View the 6 DNS/DHCP Webinars in Courses & Materials or take the DNS/DHCP Fundamentals Workshop
  2. Pass DNS & DHCP Protocol Exam

Certification Steps:

  1. Register via website and attend 3 day NIOS Configuration Class face-to-face or remote
  2. Pass NIOS Configuration exam
CICE – Certified Infoblox Core Engineer
Certifies advanced knowledge of network service protocols and configuration
Certification Steps:
  1. Complete CICA Certification as a prerequisite
  2. Register via website and attend 2 day Advanced Administration Class face-to-face or remote
    (Please note: the NIOS Configuration Class & Advanced Administration Class may be purchased as a package if the student will be taking both classes during the same week)
  3. Pass Advanced Administration exam
CIST – Certified Infoblox Support Technician
Certifies the ability to diagnose and resolve support issues for
Infoblox solutions within your company
Certification Steps:
  1. Complete CICA & CICE Certifications as prerequisites
  2. Register via website and attend 2 day Advanced Diagnostic & Troubleshooting Class
  3. Pass Advanced Diagnostic & Troubleshooting exam
