The Infoblox certified professional services team offers multiple software tools and consulting engagements to assist customers through the complete lifecycle of DNS, DHCP, and IPAM audit, design, and implementation using proven methodologies and designs that we have developed for many large customers.

AUDIT / ANALYZE
The Infoblox services team first works with the customer to audit and analyze current systems and implementations. Infoblox offers two primary services in the Audit/Analyze phase, both designed and certified by Cricket Liu, DNS expert and Infoblox VP of architecture:

DNS Advisor - External
This free Web-based tool, developed by industry authority Cricket Liu, tests the configuration, consistency, and security of your external DNS configuration.

DNS Advisor Pro - Internal
A companion to the DNS Advisor external tool, DNS Advisor Pro is a windows-based executable tool that tests over 70 facets of your internal DNS infrastructure against industry best practice design and architecture. It is available from certified Infoblox partners.

DNS Advisor Pro - LE
DNS Advisor Pro LE is a limited version of DNS Advisor Pro and is available as a free download from the Infoblox Web site.

DNS Health Check
The Infoblox four-hour onsite External DNS Health Check service provides your IT staff with an assessment of your existing External Domain Name System (DNS) infrastructure. Infoblox certified engineers, using industry best practices designed by DNS expert Cricket Liu, visit your facility and follow up with a comprehensive report.

DNS Architecture Audit
Infoblox’s certified professional services team offers comprehensive assessments of your current DNS architecture and infrastructure. This service helps you resolve any inefficiencies and security holes in your current domain name resolution system and ensures that your core network services infrastructure is capable of supporting current and future network services with high performance, security, and availability.

ARCHITECT
The second step in the Infoblox services lifecycle is Architecture, where Infoblox solution architects design and specify solutions to meet the network identify infrastructure needs of the customer. The proposed design includes recommendations for the internal and external DNS namespace, the DHCP infrastructure, IP Address Management implementation (IPAM), and RADIUS deployments as required.

IMPLEMENT / MIGRATE
In this phase, Infoblox certified experts work with the customer to ensure a successful implementation of the core network services platform. We understand the complexities of today’s networks and can help ensure a successful implementation and cutover even in the most demanding environments.

Migration Services
Successful data migration is key to any DNS/DHCP deployment. Infoblox understands the critical nature of DNS/DHCP data our certified PS professionals and partners use our powerful Data Import Wizard to automate data migration. Our tools and processes mitigate any risks of migrating data from existing systems, including BIND, Microsoft, Lucent QIP, Nortel NetID, and other legacy solutions. Infoblox also provides service and support for upgrading from the Infoblox 2.x and 3.x family of products to 4.x.

MONITOR
Infoblox can assist the customer with the design and implementation of various monitoring systems to enable the effective internal management of network services infrastructure on an ongoing basis. This includes integration with SNMP, Syslog, and other monitoring tools in the network.
