The Infoblox-1050 network services appliance platform is designed to serve small- and medium-sized enterprises and branch-office applications.

The Infoblox-1050 network services appliance platform is designed to serve small- and medium-sized enterprises and branch-office applications, and can be deployed as a standalone unit or in high-availability pairs. When equipped with the DNSone® package, the Infoblox-1050 has the capacity to support over 24,000 DNS requests per second, making it the most powerful DNS and DHCP appliance in its class.

The Infoblox-1050 can be deployed standalone, as a grid member, or as a grid master for smaller grids. In addition, the Infoblox-1050 can be used to provide remote server functions in an Alcatel-Lucent VitalQIP® environment using the Integration for VitalQIP module.

The Infoblox-1050 ships standard with the purpose-built, security-hardened Infoblox NIOS™ software, which provides industry-standard, high-availability failover and also includes the powerful, built-in bloxSDB™ database.
