"Dial-tone" Reliability for Cisco IP Phones
The Infoblox DNSone™ package has been certified to run with Cisco 7900 Series Unified IP Phones, Cisco CallManager 4.1(x), and Cisco CallManager 4.0(x). The products have undergone interoperability testing in a third-party lab. Cisco 7900 Series Unified IP Phones require IP addresses delivered via DHCP, firmware updates through TFTP, and time stamp from NTP. Infoblox provides these services in a single, purpose-built appliance that is highly reliable, secure, scalable, centrally managed, and easy to deploy.

Automated DNS, DHCP and IPAM (DDI) Infrastructure
Data center virtualization has become a leading enterprise IT initiative, and for good reason. Cost, availability, flexibility and environmental advantages are driving adoption. While technologies to deploy and manage virtual servers have advanced to the level that skilled engineers can deploy a new virtual server within a matter of seconds, configuring related networking infrastructure still requires manual labor and scripting. Specifically, assigning IP addresses, adding and updating DNS records and keeping track of virtual assets (virtual machines etc.) in the context of networking are still manual processes. Highly automated and resilient DNS, DHCP and IP address management (DDI) infrastructure is critical to the successful deployment of virtualized infrastructure.

DNS QuickSecure Solution™
Newly developed attacks on Domain Name System (DNS) servers represent one of the most significant threats to Internet security in the last decade. Because DNS is used by nearly all networked applications – including email, Web browsing, ecommerce, Internet telephony and more – the new attacks threaten the basis of modern communications and commerce. The Infoblox DNS QuickSecure Solution provides organizations with a first line of defense, establishing in effect a “DNS Firewall” that works with existing DNS infrastructure and provides a hardened DNS layer that can be upgraded quickly and easily, with no downtime.

Implementing Policy-Based Access Control in a Multi-Vendor Environment Using IF-MAP
IF-MAP is an open standard that can be adopted by communities of related vendors, service providers and end users in applications beyond network security. IF-MAP can thus be used by other standards bodies in much the same way as its used by TNC: Specifically, as a component that extends the standards to enable easy integration with previously unrelated systems.

Infoblox Core Network Services + Riverbed RSP
Infoblox Virtual Appliance software running on Riverbed platforms can be combined with Infoblox hardware appliances into Infoblox grids. The patent-pending Infoblox grid technology links distributed appliances into a unified, centrally managed system that shares a common, real-time distributed database. The Infoblox grid uses secure communication among appliances using SSL and also uses sophisticated transaction management technology to maintain data integrity. This ensures that all appliances in the grid have the right data and that the grid continues to deliver services—without data loss or corruption—in the face of device or WAN failures. Infoblox grid technology also supports intelligent data replication to minimize the use of bandwidth in the grid and to enable “right-sized” appliances to be deployed at each location.

Managing Microsoft DNS Infrastructure
Microsoft DNS and DHCP services are deployed by many enterprises. Included with Microsoft Windows server, these critical services are the foundation for network connectivity and applications. All IP devices need addresses, and DHCP is the most efficient way to provide them. And essentially all network applications, from web services to e-mail to Microsoft Active Directory, depend on DNS. But increasingly, the management of these services is a challenge as networks continue to add devices and applications at an unprecedented rate.
