Microsoft

Gold Certified Partner: Advanced Infrastructure Solutions

Infoblox is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner with an Advanced Infrastructure Solutions Competency. This competency identifies Infoblox as an experienced partner fully qualified to deploy products with the Active Directory and Identity Management solutions from Microsoft. The Infoblox DNSone appliance-based solution is fully compatible with Microsoft DNS and DHCP services and integrates seamlessly into a Microsoft environment. Similarly, the Network Services for Authentication package offers "point-and-click" integration with Microsoft Active Directory as a user repository. This allows for a reliable, secure solution for supporting wireless deployments, perimeter security, and other applications.

Network Access Protection (NAP) Partner

Infoblox extends the power and security of Microsoft NAP, by integrating its DHCP as an enforcement point within any NAP architecture. Through integration with other Microsoft Network Access Protection partners’ security tools (e.g. endpoint policy compliance software), Infoblox allows enterprises to apply security policies specific to operating system versions. This helps enterprises maintain a consistent level of security in a mixed operating system environment where different levels of functionality often merit a different mix of security checks and balances.

Neustar

Neustar is committed to providing enterprises with superior solutions to support their IP environments on both sides of the firewall. With our UltraDNS service line, Neustar has established itself as the premier provider of managed authoritative services to the enterprise market. Through its global UltraDNS ‘cloud’ infrastructure, consisting of 15 DNS server cluster nodes across five continents, Neustar has brought new levels of reliability, performance, and security to the external DNS environment, critical to the successful operation of Internet based applications.

Now through our strategic relationship with Infoblox, Neustar is able to offer its customers the industry’s most powerful and widely deployed platform for controlling and automating core network services. Infoblox’s GRID architecture has revolutionized the internal DNS/DHCP/IPAM infrastructure, bringing new levels of performance, data integrity, and flexibility to the internal IP network environments of thousands of enterprises. The traditional approach of deploying distributed DNS/DHCP appliances with limited coordination is proving increasingly inadequate to provide the performance required to address the increasing complexity of the IP environment behind the firewall. The GRID architecture has addressed this by unifying the appliances into a centrally managed core network services platform, with real-time data replication across all member appliances. Infoblox solutions are used by over 3,000 organizations worldwide, including over 100 of the Fortune 500.

Siemens

Infoblox appliances offer Siemens and its customers a reliable, scalable and easily managed alternative to conventional DNS and dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP) solutions, which are typically based on software running on servers with standard operating systems. Conventional systems are difficult to deploy and manage, expensive to patch and maintain, and do not provide the level of service integration or real-time performance and resiliency necessary to support new security initiatives, pervasive mobile networking, convergence applications like VoIP, or compliance reporting requirements.

Siemens and Infoblox have completed integration work to allow Infoblox appliance monitoring and central solution management through the Siemens NMS Switch Commander (NMS) application, which is used to manage most Siemens mobile core solutions.
