Infoblox Appoints Stephen Yu as Executive Vice President and General Counsel

Infoblox Inc. (NYSE: BLOX) today announced Stephen Yu has joined Infoblox as executive vice president and general counsel, effective immediately. Yu is responsible for legal affairs at Infoblox, as well as the company’s intellectual property portfolio, government affairs, public policy and corporate citizenship.

“Steve brings excellent legal and business expertise from working within both mature and emerging growth companies,” said Robert Thomas, CEO and president of Infoblox. “He has served as a strong leader and legal advisor throughout his career and with his guidance we are well positioned to protect and enhance the business interests of Infoblox.”

Yu brings more than 20 years of experience leading legal teams and advising on corporate, commercial, intellectual property and litigation matters around the world. For the past seven years, Yu served as executive vice president, general counsel and secretary of Rovi Corporation. In that position he led and managed the company’s legal function. Prior to Rovi, Yu served as general counsel at Aspect Communications Corporation, a provider of contact center solutions, Riverstone Networks, Inc., a provider of Ethernet network solutions, and Palm, Inc., a provider of mobile computing solutions.
