Infoblox Secures Highest Possible “Strong Positive” Rating in Leading Analyst Firm’s DDI MarketScope Report

Infoblox Inc. today announced it has secured a “Strong Positive” rating—the highest possible rating given—in the Gartner 2012 MarketScope for DDI products1.

“We believe Infoblox achieved this rating by maintaining a solid commitment to product quality, innovation and customer support,” says Kevin Dickson, Vice President of Product Management at Infoblox. “We are pleased to be recognized as Strong Positive. Infoblox sets such a high bar in the industry with our capabilities, like our IPv6 features and VMware plugin that automates IP address assignment for virtual machines, to help our enterprise customers achieve greater efficiency and operational excellence in their increasingly virtualized environments.”

Infoblox pioneered the integrated appliance-based approach to DDI and is a leader in the commercial DDI market as evidenced by its more than 5,400 customers. Infoblox is continually raising the bar in the market with solutions designed to meet forthcoming IPv6, DNSSEC, virtualization and cloud initiatives.

According to Gartner, a “strong positive” rating indicates that a vendor is viewed as a provider of strategic products, services or solutions, with whom existing customers should continue planned investments and potential customers should consider a strong choice for strategic investments. Infoblox was one of seven vendors evaluated in the report.
