I'm in the process of moving our ASAs from an IPSec tunnel to EZVPN. I've got a CCS script that pulls the hostname and works for one Trigger but it creates a second Trigger writing the wrong information over the correct one. There is a large number of devices that need to be changed with unique usernames.
I created a new Device Group called Bracknell-Switches, using the Group Membership criteria "$sysLocation like /Bracknell/ and $Type = "Switch"
I ensured that the snmp-server location on ONE of the switches contained the name "Bracknell"
On NetMRI I generated the Device Groups and saw that the test switch was succesfully added to that group.
I then configured similar snmp-server location (Bracknell ....) on the remaining switches.
When I generated the device groups again, I received the error:
*** Invalid buffer ID ***
Please fogive the "newbie" question as I am certain that this is simply resolved, but my problem is this:
I am trying to configure AAA on my Cisco devices using a NetMRI script but the job encounters errors because of the AAA banner line, where the CLI prompt is not returned.
The script fails with timeout waiting for device:
